A guide for personal prayer
Begin by thanking God for His character and grace. Confess what you need to bring before Him. Pray for family, church members, neighbors, and those facing hardship. Ask for wisdom, faithfulness, and opportunities to serve.
A weekly prayer rhythm
Monday: church leadership. Tuesday: families and students. Wednesday: those facing illness or grief. Thursday: neighbors and community. Friday: gospel witness and missions. Saturday: preparation for worship. Sunday: gratitude and unity. This is a suggested personal practice.
Caring through practical action
A prayer can be followed by a phone call, a note, a meal, or an offer of help when appropriate. Ask permission before sharing another person’s circumstances, and coordinate church care through leadership.
