Take the gospel beyond our walls.
Consider how prayer, generosity, service, and clear gospel conversations can support the work of making disciples.
Why missions matters
Matthew 28:18–20 connects going, making disciples, baptizing, and teaching. Missions involves more than an occasional project: it invites Christians to care about people hearing the gospel and growing as followers of Jesus.
Ideas for local outreach
A church-approved effort might include helping a community organization, preparing care packages, offering practical help to a neighbor, or inviting someone to worship. Contact leadership to discuss current opportunities and approved community partnerships.
Study guide: sharing the gospel
Read Romans 10:9–17. Discuss the relationship between hearing, believing, and speaking the gospel. Ask how prayer and generosity can support faithful gospel work. Identify one person or ministry to learn about before making a commitment.
Ways to participate
Pray for approved missionaries, ask leadership about verified needs, give through the church’s established channels, or discuss an appropriate service opportunity. Missionary names, supported organizations, trip dates, and financial commitments should be added only after confirmation.
